String Lights For Restaurants
When selecting string lights for your restaurant or other entertainment venue, you want to be sure that you compliment the existing environment. So, if the area you are working in is bright to begin with, then it's fine just to go along with that plan and use string lights that are bright. If you happen to have a room that is on the darker, more quaint side, then you may want to make sure to select string lights that are not as bright just to compliment the area. You would probably want to use a more dainty type string light with smaller bulbs. For example, the bulb sizes G12, 5mm, M5, C6 are just some of the shapes available in the smaller bulbs category.
If you are working in an area that is dark and quaint, you normally don't want to hang big light bulbs because it might be too bright for the area. However, if the big lights are the only source of light being used in the room, big bright bulbs might just end up looking great! They also serve, as a low cost solution to provide overhead lighting for your room. Especially if they are LED bulbs. Go Green energy!
When it comes to picking the right size bulb, we suggest that you try and match the type of bulb and string lights that you already have. It is generally less expensive and more practical that way. However, you may want to change your entire display. In that case you start pulling down the old strings and make a plan for a brand new "look". For example, some of the larger bulbs we carry are available now in LED and are low voltage with a larger bulb type. Some examples of larger bulbs are G50, G40, S14, A19 etc. These bulbs are outstanding for patios, decks, tents and other party areas outdoors. Remember LED bulbs do not get hot when lit, so you can safely use them in a tent as opposed to the incandescent bulbs which might be too hot and raise the temperature inside the tent.
